If you already have your results, you can apply through Clearing from 5 July 2024, and if you already hold a place at another university, you can release yourself into clearing and apply via UCAS Hub from 4 July 2024.
If your results are being released in August, being well prepared ahead of results day will help to make your Clearing experience a lot easier. Use our results day checklist to make sure you have everything you need:
- Keep results day free. Remember that Clearing works on a first come, first served basis, so make sure you haven’t booked any celebratory holidays just yet in case you need to make a few calls. • Make sure you know what time your results will be released and when your school/college will be open.
- Organise all your documents from UCAS ahead of time. It’s a good idea to keep your UCAS number and any other important pieces of information on hand when you’re making calls for Clearing.
- List any back-up courses you would be interested in studying just in case your first choice is unavailable. You can use the course search feature on our website, or you can speak to our Applicant Relations team who can help you to find similar courses in Clearing.
- Make sure your phone and laptop are fully charged on the day to reduce the risk of interruptions. You can get in touch with one of our experts for advice on Clearing, university admissions and student finance by calling 020 7365 6240 (Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm) or via the Live chat on our website.
