There is fantastic accommodation for postgraduate students at UEA. Prices will vary depending on the type of room chosen, but all include bills within the rent. Most rooms are self-catered and grouped around a shared kitchen.
For those who would prefer to rent privately off-campus, the uni will provide support and guidance to ensure each individual finds somewhere that is right for them, and that they are protected as a tenant. Information can be found through the Student Union Advice Centre.
University of East Anglia UEA students on Postgraduate Search say:
“The accommodation is very clean and the staff in charge of my accommodation do an excellent job which makes living comfortable and enjoyable. ”
“The halls are comfortable, clean and fulfil the COVID biosecurity requirements.”
“A professional and comfortable space for students!”
Academic facilities include a 24-hour multi-story library, featuring over 200 study spaces, IT equipment and over 800,000 books.
Non-academic facilities can be found on campus just a minute’s walk from the library. Facilities include the Shop, a bank, bakery, post office, student bar, book shop and a launderette. There is also the Sainsbury Centre for Visual Arts, a cultural art museum displaying work from a range of artists.
Sports facilities include their £30 million Sportspark: the biggest indoor sports centre in Britain with an Olympic sized pool. As the campus is located in landscaped grounds, there are also playing fields for sports including lacrosse, American football, and rugby.

“Great library resource with friendly staff who have always helped me whenever I need help”
“The campus is truly one of a kind, it's basically one with nature. Whenever I feel stressed or feel down, I take a walk around the river and that alone makes me feel better. ”
