Clearing is your chance to apply for university if you haven't secured a place, got better results than expected, or changed your mind about your chosen university or course. It's open from 5 July 2025, with A Level results day on 14 August — and you don't have to wait until then to get started.
Check our available Clearing courses online and have your results, UCAS ID, and contact details ready. Call our hotline on 0333 733 1848 or apply online from 30 June. Some courses may require a phone interview or portfolio, but our friendly team will guide you every step of the way.
Looking for a Foundation Year or PGCE? We've got those, too. And don't forget — Clearing isn't just a second chance; it's your opportunity to choose the path that's right for you.
Once you've called our hotline or applied online, we'll talk through your results and options. If you receive a verbal offer, you'll confirm it on your UCAS Hub. You can then apply for guaranteed accommodation (for Carlisle and Lancaster applicants applying by 29 August) and start arranging student finance.
