All university accommodation is well-equipped, with Wi-Fi and utilities included. Prices start from £145 per week, for an average 40-week contract, and students can choose from catered or self-catered halls.
Chichester’s facilities are renowned for their quality, and the university provides students with a range of state-of-the-art spaces for research and study.
The university boats a high-spec library which has open-access workstations, printing facilities, individual study rooms and group working spaces. The library collection houses over 260,000 printed volumes in total, as well as over 500,000 e-books.
Recently constructed facilities at Chichester include the £35 million Engineering and Digital Technology Park on the Bognor Regis campus, which provides dedicated training to aspiring STEM students. The University of Chichester understands the pressures students experiences while studying for an undergraduate degree. As such, the university provides a team of highly qualified student support specialists who are always on hand to help students throughout their time at Chichester. A comprehensive range of student support services provide confidential and non-judgemental spaces where students can receive individual help with any issues they may face while at the university.
Chichester’s friendly Support and Information Zone (SIZ) is a one-stop-shop for any student questions or concerns. SIZ provides is a range of support options for students with disabilities, long-term health conditions, autistic spectrum conditions, mental health conditions and specific learning difficulties, including dyslexia, dyspraxia, and dysgraphia. Student support advisors at Chichester can also refer students to the university’s student health team, which consists of two registered nurses, a mental health advisor, and a counselling service. There is also a specialist student finance advisor at the university to help students with any finance and budgeting issues.
