Key dates: From 5 July you’ll be able to apply for a course through Clearing if you already have your results.
If you’re waiting for your results, request a priority call-back from us on A-level results day. We’ll make a note to call you so you don’t have to stress about making the call. Our friendly team will make you a priority; we’ll offer you advice and tell you what your options are.
Steps:
- Call us or apply through Clearing online – our friendly Clearing team will guide you through the Clearing process and help you find the right course for you. Or you can apply directly to us using our online Clearing form.
- Accept your Clearing offer – if you’re made a Clearing offer, you’ll need to make Brighton your Clearing choice on UCAS Hub before your place is confirmed. If you applied direct to us, there’s a form to fill in and return. We’ll email you top tips and reminders.
- Find a place to live – the accommodation team can help you find a room or connect you with other students looking for housing. There’s generally lots of choice from halls to shared houses and flats in town.
- Apply for student finance, if you haven’t already. If you have applied and changed course or university, you’ll need to let the Student Loans Company know. There’s more information about this on our website.
