Visit our Clearing HubThe University of Brighton is based on the coast in the South-East of England, between the sea and the countryside. It's known for its independence and open-mindedness and students flock to the city to study. In fact, 14% of the city’s residents are students. Brighton offers over 160 undergraduate courses, all designed with bright futures in mind.
Brighton has a focus on flexible learning with training that builds students’ employability and helps them achieve their academic goals in the way that best suits them. Through work placements and practical, hands-on learning, students graduate with a competitive edge.
Studying at Brighton is accessible and inclusive, and grades are never the whole picture. The admissions process values students’ potential, creativity, resilience and determination. Brighton is a community where everyone belongs.
Not only does the University of Brighton support students academically, but with the costs of living too. They offer a Student Support Fund, a non-repayable grant awarded to students who need extra financial support with living costs or who are experiencing financial hardship. Their Students’ Union is also a major source of financial and wellbeing support, from The Pantry, which provides free non-perishable food and toiletries, to supporting searches for part-time work on campus and beyond.
