Postgraduate students can apply for on-campus accommodation at The Green. There are apartments available made up of six en-suite bedrooms, as well as a shared kitchen/dining area and living space. All bedrooms contain a bed, desk and wardrobe.
There are also townhouses available, which is a cheaper option. There are 12 bedrooms in each townhouse, and shared bathrooms (only two students will share a bathroom). Bedrooms all come with a bed, desk and wardrobe.
The Green is aptly named - it has a variety of sustainable features including solar energy, rainwater harvesting, food growing areas, and composting sites.
Wi-Fi is available throughout the student accommodation, and insurance is included in the overall cost. There’s 24-hour security and CCTV, as well as onsite wardens, to ensure student safety.
The University of Bradford has fantastic on-site facilities, both for academic study, student services, and recreation. Student Central is home to the Students’ Union, the union shop, bars and eateries, places to hang out with friends, Bradford Student Cinema, and the radio station.
Sports facilities are found at Unique Fitness and Lifestyle, which contains a swimming pool, gym, and a sports hall. There’s also plenty of outside space on the Bradford campus, which is a sustainability-designed site with open green areas, vegetable gardens, beehives and plenty of purpose-built recreational spaces to enjoy some fresh air throughout the day. The campus has a theatre, gallery, and music centre.
Five minutes from campus, students will find the university's nursery and sports park, which has recently been refurbished and features 3G pitches and tennis courts.
