Accommodation

UCA offers halls of residence accommodation options for first year students at its campuses in Canterbury, Epsom, Farnham and Rochester. Housing consists of shared apartments, with a communal living and kitchen area. All first year students who apply before the January UCAS deadline are guaranteed placement by the university, in either halls of residence or private accommodation.

Second and third-year students go on to find accommodation from the local private rental sector. This can vary considerably, since the university has several campus locations, though the university’s dedicated Accommodation Office is always on-hand to give advice and guidance.

Facilities

UCA has superb creative and technical facilities, and is continually updating its infrastructure and resources to ensure students have access to industry-standard creative environments, furnished with the latest equipment and technologies. Students have access to the same equipment that they’re likely to use in the professional world, ensuring that UCA graduates are fully prepared to launch their careers.

From animation suites to kilns and looms, TV production studios to virtual reality labs, laser cutting and 3D printers students have everything needed for academic and creative success. Unlike multi-disciplinary universities, UCA dedicates all their campus space to purely creative resources and facilities, and employs a dedicated team of technicians to provide support to students throughout their course.
