Its comprehensive Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) is a central online hub which provides a variety of essential services. This includes a student hub for academic support, study advice, and contact details for academic support services.
UCEM’s academic team also provide expert support. Students can seek support from dedicated programme leaders, module leaders and tutors who help with issues around module content, delivery, and assessment preparation.
UCEM also has a dedicated student engagement team, who are the first point of contact for any concerns or questions, including administrative, academic, and pastoral issues. Academic support tutors are also on-hand to provide non-subject specific advice.
The institution provides tailored and flexible support for students with physical and sensory impairments, specific learning difficulties, autism spectrum disorders, mental health conditions, and long-term health conditions.
