Student’s union
Swansea’s Students' Union exists to help students enjoy every aspect of university life. It also works hard to amplify the student voice to make sure students get the most from their university experience. With more than 280 events per year, four shops and three bars, the union is a hub of activity. Students can also receive support from the union when facing educational or personal difficulties.
Students commented on the Student Unions’ inclusivity and democracy across its six full time officers, part-time officers and team of other staff and volunteers. Plus, for each degree, students are able to become subject reps to voice the concerns of their peers and improve their chosen course.

Joining a club is a great way to make friends and meet likeminded people. Those on offer at Swansea range from subject based societies to hobby groups and cultural clubs.
