Postgraduate

Students who choose a postgraduate qualification at Sheffield Hallam University rate their time highly - the 2021 Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey showed an 80 per cent satisfaction rating, with the research equivalent scoring 81 per cent.

Students will gain all the necessary skills to progress into an exciting career. According to the latest Graduate Outcomes survey, 85 per cent of taught students will be in highly skilled employment within 15 months of graduating. That figure rises to 89 per cent for research students.

The university is an institution that wants higher education to be available to all, breaking down barriers to entry for communities that normally struggle to access this level of study. This led to SHU being named University of the Year at the UK Social Mobility Awards in 2021.
