4.0Roehampton University guarantees accommodation to all eligible first-year students who accept their place before the deadline. The on-campus accommodation ensures that new students are close to all the university's facilities, including campus chickens!
There's a wide variety of different rooms on offer to suit different needs and budgets including ensuite rooms, quiet rooms, single-sex flats, and post-graduate flats. All university-owned accommodation is furnished with bed, mattress, desk, chair and wardrobe, and the university also sells bedroom and kitchen packs to make the moving-in process simple.
All accommodation at Roehampton is self-catered meaning all students will have to provide their own meals. University-owned flats feature a shared kitchen equipped with oven, hob, fridge, freezer, sink, kettle and microwave.
To provide reassurance, each first-year flat is assigned a Flat Rep, an older student who acts in an older sibling role to provide support and advice. Flat Reps can help solve any issues that might arise in the flat and act as a liaison between first-year students and different on-campus services.
Private, off-campus accommodation is also available for any students who do not wish to live on campus, or who aren't covered by the accommodation guarantee.
Alongside the standard tuition fee loan and maintenance loan there are scholarships available to certain eligible students. For UK students, these scholarships include the Academic Excellence Scholarship, Esports Scholarships and Sporting Excellence Scholarships, alongside other more specific offerings. These scholarships are awarded yearly and are worth between £500 and £1500 per year.
The university also offers the Sacred Heart Sanctuary Scholarship for students otherwise unable to access Higher Education due to their immigration status. This scholarship waives tuition fees, provides free on-campus accommodation and provides access to a Maintenance Grant equivalent to the maximum government maintenance loan.
The university also offers a range of bursaries for care leavers as well as the NHS bursaries. Alongside these the university has a Student Hardship Fund to assist with any unforeseen financial difficulties that may arise during a student's study at Roehampton, as well as additional funding and support for disabled students.

Roehampton offers over 100 undergraduate courses in a wide range of subject areas, across the Schools of Arts, Business and Law, Education, Humanities and Social Sciences, Life and Health Sciences, and Psychology. Most courses offered are only available for full-time students, though there are a handful of part-time courses offered. Foundation year courses are also offered in a range of subjects.
Most of the undergraduate courses available at the University of Roehampton last three years, but there are options for courses that last four years through the addition of placement years. On many courses, there's also the option to study a semester abroad, and students have travelled to a variety of different countries to study including the USA, Australia, China and France.

4.1All the courses at the University of Roehampton are designed with employability in mind. Many students at Roehampton also have the opportunity to do a placement, and employers and industry experts regularly visit the university to offer talks.
All students are enrolled onto Careerlink, an online resource which offers access to a CV builder, volunteering opportunities, mock job interviews and job directories. This service also helps people to access online skills courses and more.
The uni also offers a career mentoring scheme, which offers students a link with a Roehampton graduate. Your career mentor will share their experiences with you and offer guidance to help you build your professional network. Your mentor could work in anywhere in the world, and the university has connections with a wide range of alumni in different industries.
Additionally, the uni has an onsite job recruitment agency, URJobs, which helps students find part-time jobs, as well as full-time opportunities for graduates.
