Founded by Regent Group in 2010, Regent College Higher Education is an award-winning college.

Here, you can study for HNDs in a range of business disciplines, including: business management, accounting and finance, marketing, human resources, entrepreneurship and operations management.

They also offer Bachelor’s degrees in business management, business entrepreneurship, marketing and health and social science and Top-up degrees in business management and entrepreneurship across five well-equipped campuses (Wembley, Kingsbury, Harrow, Southall, and Central London).

The College offers a flexible learning experience, with day time, weekend and evening classes available. Boasting a Bronze status in the Government’s Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF), an overall satisfaction rate of 84%, external validation from the Quality Assurance Agency (QAA) and a dedicated personal development programme, ‘Thinking into Character’ you can be sure you’ll receive a great, well-rounded education at Regent College Higher Education.

Regent College Higher Education offers a range of HNDs, Foundation Year degrees, Bachelors degrees and Top-up degrees in business management, entrepreneurship, marketing  and health and social sciences depending on where you are in your educational journey.

Employability is at the heart of everything Regent College does and courses are all focused on enhancing your real-world skills and knowledge to help you achieve your career goals.

The Pearson BTEC HND gives students the specialist skills needed in the business industry.  Students studying for their HND will also have the opportunity to top-up their HND to a full Bachelor’s degree in just one year. Regent College offers top-up degrees in Business Management and Business Entrepreneurship validated by Buckinghamshire New University and University of Northampton respectively.

They also offer a range of Foundation Year and Bachelors degrees in business, marketing, health & social care validated by Buckinghamshire New University and a Bachelor’s degree in business entrepreneurship validated by University of Northampton.

Their range of vocational-based courses are all supported by the College’s strong links with local businesses, and whatever you study, you’ll enjoy a diverse, non-traditional educational experience. Courses are offered on a flexible basis, allowing you to fit your studying around your other commitments.

The College does not have a traditional Students’ Union; however, membership of Regent College grants you full membership of the National Union of Students, and you’ll enjoy the benefits of an NUS card, too. Full support is also provided at the Student Support Centre, which is open daily and offers a number of useful services.

You won’t be short on entertainment opportunities either, as each of the College’s five campuses is based in the heart of a thriving local community, where you’ll have easy access to all amenities likes shops, cafes, pubs and clubs.

Regent College offers detailed accommodation information and support on its website, where you can find out more about housing costs in all of the boroughs where the College has a campus. Although the College does not have its own accommodation, it is very easy to find private sector accommodation in London, either through signing up with a letting agency, or using a popular flatsharing website like Spare Room or Gum Tree.

At the Wembley Campus, you will be only minutes away from Wembley Stadium, and will have full access to local facilities including the library, civic centre, and gym. The Kingsbury Campus offers modern facilities in a vibrant community, including a dedicated Higher Education Student Suite, IT lab, and comfortable lounge area. Meanwhile, the Harrow Campus ideal for students who like to be in the thick of things, located close to Rayner’s Lane tube station and host of shops and food and drink outlets. The Campus is also home to modern classrooms, IT labs and other state-of-the-art facilities.

Finally, Southall Campus is in thriving, diverse community, where you’ll find street food stalls, trendy music venues and lots of local businesses with work experience opportunities. Southall Campus is home to cutting-edge IT facilities and all the study resources you could need.

The new London Campus is now open, enjoying a great location surrounded by amenities, local businesses and transport links in the heart of Central London.

Whichever campus you choose to study at, you’ll be living in the heart of London, the UK’s vibrant capital city. All of the campuses enjoy great transport links, so you can travel throughout the city with ease, and enjoy discounted fares on London underground and local buses with your NUS card.

London is known for its shopping opportunities, and with bustling Oxford Street and retail centres like Westfield at your feet, you’ll be spoilt for choice if that student loan is just burning a hole through your pocket. There are also more pubs, bars and clubs than you can shake a stick at, and if you’re feeling fancy, there’s plenty of opportunities for a meal at a restaurant too.

You can get away from it all in one of London’s eight Royal Parks, or countless other parks, open spaces and garden squares. In the summer months you can enjoy open air cinema at Somerset House and theatre at Shakespeare’s Globe.

There are music venues everywhere hosting live events of all genres, and if you’re studying at the Wembley Campus, you’ll have two of London’s biggest and best-known venues right round the corner, in the form of Wembley Stadium and Wembley Arena.

As the College does not have its own Students’ Union, there aren’t any official, on-campus clubs you can join. However, as the College is home to such a diverse community of students, you’re bound to find friends with similar interests, or even learn about a new hobby! Whatever you enjoy the most, you’ll be well-placed in London to find a local club or group – try checking sites like Meetup and local Facebook pages for inspiration.

The Student Support Centre is open daily from 9am to 6pm, and is available for drop in sessions all day; alternatively, you can call or email if you need help in an emergency, to book a one-on-one appointment. Some of the services offered include:

  • HND in Business - £6,165 per year
  • BA (Hons) Business Management (Top up)  - £7,500 per year
  • BA (Hons) Business Entrepreneurship (Top up) - £7,500 pear year
  • BA (Hons) Business Management with foundation year - £5500 for the foundation year. And £8000 thereafter for the degree
  • BSc (Hons) Health and Social Science with foundation year - £5500 for the foundation year. And £8000 thereafter for the degree
  • BA (Hons) Business Management - £8,000 per year
  • BSc (Hons) Health and Social Science - £8,000 per year

All students doing their HND will be required to pay a one-off registration fee of £255 before beginning their course. You’ll be able to claim this back if you later secure funding from the Student Loans Company.

Scholarships/ Bursaries

Regent College currently offers no scholarships or bursaries to prospective students. However, students can get tuition loan and maintenance support from the government to support their studies.

All UK and EU students entering UK education are entitled to pay fees at the home rate for the academic 2019/20. Eligibility for fee assistance or maintenance support is also open to UK/EU students. This does not need repaying until the study period has finished and you are earning more than £25,000 per year. You can check the government’s student finance website for details.

Regent College has undergone a number of external evaluations and consistently exceeds quality requirements for the education it provides:

Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF)

In June 2019, Regent College was awarded TEF Bronze status in acknowledgement of its “high-quality teaching, learning and outcomes for students”.

Quality Assurance Agency (QAA)

Regent College underwent a review by the QAA (which safeguards quality in UK higher education) in September 2016 and received a commendable outcome from its 2017 monitoring visit. An annual return visit in September 2018 confirmed that we are continuing to maintain academic standards and enhance the quality of, and information about, student learning opportunities.

Pearson

Regent College is inspected by qualification provider Pearson twice per year, once via an Academic Management Review (AMR), and once via a Standards Verification process. Our most recent AMR took place in March 2018. Extracts from the report include:

Entry requirements

HND Entry Requirements

Entry requirements vary by course. For the HND, you will need GCSE passes at grades A-C, and at least one A-Level at grades A-E. Other qualification accepted for home students include a BTEC or Access to Higher Education Certificate, or two years of relevant work experience.

Students from outside the UK will need to sit the College’s English exam, unless you already hold IELTS at grade 5.5 in both reading and writing.

Entry to degree courses requires around 80-100 UCAS points. If you are from a non-English speaking country, you’ll need IELTS at grade 6.0 with no less than 5.5 in any area.
