While Point Blank has no official Students’ Union, students do have access to a range of resources to aid and support student life, as well as collaborate and socialise with fellow students.
This includes an official Student Council, well-being and welfare support and regular student socials. There is additionally a vibrant local scene full of music venues, bars, pubs and restaurants where many school events take place.
Students at Point Blank enjoy a highly active student life, benefitting from a range of regular student events and socials. The school supports a range of student-led societies, covering everything from industrial techno, to football, baking and more.
As an inclusive school that celebrates diversity, Point Blank supports a number of societies that represent minority groups and provide input into the School’s EDI, access and outreach work, as well as support for students from those groups and opportunities to connect and share experiences.
In addition, the school provides various student socials, showcases and events that provide opportunities to perform in front of an audience and established industry figures and peers.
Point Blank also host regular Ableton User Groups and bi-monthly Native Instrument Meetup events at their London school, giving students additional opportunities to meet new people, share knowledge, ideas and get up to date with the latest in music technology.
Point Blank is in the centre of hip East London, Hoxton. The area features a variety of independent record and fashion shops, plus clubs, bars, cafes and a thriving live music scene on the doorstep of the school.
The nearest overground station is Hoxton, while Old Street tube is just a 10-minute walk away. There are numerous bus routes that pass nearby so, wherever students travel from, they have access to excellent transport connections surrounding the school, making Point Blank easy to reach.
