With such a large student population, NTU has an active and well organised Students’ Union. Nottingham Trent University’s Student Charter was jointly created by the university and the Students’ Union and outlines the university’s commitment to delivering an excellent student experience that meets and exceeds expectations. The Student Charter is founded on principles of integrity, respect and effective communication, all of which can be applied and upheld within an online learning platform.
NTU’s Students’ Union website provides a huge range of resources and information for online students, including advice, opportunities and support services.
NTU Online students have access to a wide range of online clubs and societies, which enhance the university experience and provide social engagement with students from the university.
With a population of over 20,000 students, NTU has a large variety and number of student societies. Although the majority of these societies are organised around locations across the university campus, there are many which can be joined and participated in remotely.
