Students at NCH are represented by a Student’s Union (NCHSU), responsible for student engagement, developing self-sufficiency within the student body and the college’s social hub. The NCHSU is run by eight democratically-elected union officers and represents the voice of its student membership.
The union also plans social and extracurricular activities and provides support to student clubs and societies.
Joining a club or society is a fantastic way to expand and enhance the student experience, and offer great opportunities to share interests and activities with like-minded individuals. The college is home to many clubs and societies including:
The Hispanic Appreciation Society was recently nominated for Bright Network’s Language and Culture Society of the Year Award after delivering NCH’s first community project, in which free English language classes, taught by students, were offered to the building’s cleaning staff.
The college is located in central London, which gives students direct access to one of the world’s greatest cities. Along with incredible restaurants, amazing bars and super clubs, the UK’s capital is home to some of Europe’s leading art galleries and museums.
At New College of the Humanities, students are perfectly placed to experience London’s top attractions, and can easily explore the city using its extensive public transport network, or by taking a cruise down the Thames. There are endless possibilities to discover, and a rich landscape of culture, history and entertainment.
