Prospective Higher National (HNC or HND) students are generally expected to hold a related Level 3 qualification indicating strong performance in a relevant subject – this may be A-levels, a BTEC Extended Diploma, or an Access to Higher Education Diploma. GCSE English at a grade 4 or C minimum is required; and GCSE maths is desirable.
However, the college also recognises that mature students may lack traditional qualifications but are capable of reaching the standards required for a higher education course as a result of paid or unpaid work experience or other types of professional training.
All applicants who become students must demonstrate a commitment to and interest in their chosen subject. More information on entry requirements for HNDs can be found on the college website, or through Student Services.
Applicants aiming for a place on the BA top-up courses (fashion, music, or fine art) need to have already achieved a level 5 (HND) in the same or related subject.
To apply for courses, students must submit an online application through the college website or via UCAS. If they meet the entry requirements, they will be asked to come to an interview where they will have the opportunity to discuss their experience, goals and interests. Please refer to the programme specifications on each subject webpage for further information on auditions, portfolios and performances.UCAS TARIFF CALCULATOR
