For the 2025 academic year, MetFilm School is offering 11 mindfully created master's degrees. Programmes are one-year, full-time, and equip students with the practical skills, knowledge, and industry connections needed to forge a meaningful and sustainable career in screen specialisms.
Supplementing its provision of master's degrees, MetFilm School also offers a range of short courses for students who are unable to commit to the duration of a full postgraduate degree.

Postgraduate students receive extensive careers support from the Creative Futures team. Trained advisors run daily one-to-one career surgeries where students can seek support and guidance on all career-related matters, including job applications, auditions, career planning, and CV development.
Students can get involved in specialised career development workshops, or receive bespoke advice on navigating the festival circuit or other commercial platforms. Creative Futures also runs its own talent pool and jobs board, connecting students and graduates with exciting creative work prospects, including opportunities exclusive to MetFilm School students.

Masterclasses
Students are regularly invited to masterclasses with special guests who provide unique insights into career options, modern industry developments, and their own personal experiences. A back catalogue of masterclasses is available online for students to benefit from in their own time.

MetFilm School offers scholarships and bursaries to assist students with the cost of postgraduate education.
In 2025, aspiring directors studying MA Directing, MA Cinematography, MA Post Production, and MA Screenwriting courses may apply for a BAFTA scholarship. MetFilm School offers two such awards in partnership with the British Academy of Film and Television Arts. These prestigious packages include up to £12,000 towards tuition fees, a BAFTA industry mentor, and access to BAFTA events and learning opportunities.

Course fees for individual degree programmes may vary between campuses. Students studying at the Berlin campus will be subject to different tuition fees, payable in Euros.
