The LSBU Careers Hub provides students with support to find jobs and placements and offers a range of career resources to get you off to a head start.
As a student, you’ll have access to the Careers Hub, where you can get advice on your future career, book one-to-one appointments with the career advisers, search for suitable jobs and placements, register for workshops and careers events, and access online careers resources to help you plan a career, build a CV and succeed in interviews.
The uni offers the CV360 service through the Careers Hub, which offers a 50-point check on your CV. After your CV has been reviewed and you’ve made any improvements to it, you’ll be able to get it looked at by a consultant at the Careers Hub to make sure you’re ready to start applying.
Graduates can also access many of the same services as students. As an alumni, you’ll still be able to book one-to-one appointments for advice on a wide range of career-related topics, from CVs to LinkedIn. You’ll also still be able to make use of the jobs board and sign up to attend careers events like workshops and fairs.
