London South Bank University is one of London's largest and oldest universities. LSBU was established in 1892 and has nearly 5,000 postgraduate students on campus enrolled on a variety of programmes in its four faculties.
London South Bank University (LSBU) is located in the south of London, in a vibrant and diverse community. The university was established over 120 years ago and has a rich history of practice-based learning. LSBU’s mission is to transform lives, communities and businesses, so you can be confident you’re studying with a socially conscious uni.
As well as the main campus in Southwark, on the south bank of the Thames, LSBU has two other London-based campuses. The Havering campus, in Harold’s Wood, offers a quieter lifestyle as it’s further out from the city, yet you’ll still have easy access to the City of London. The Croydon campus bridges the gap between the two, being located further out of the city than the Southwark campus, while still being a bustling neighbourhood with plenty of local and national transport links.
On the south bank, you’ll find plenty of bars, restaurants, cafes and entertainment, perfect for living the student lifestyle. Being in London means that you also have everything the capital has to offer right at your fingertips. London is an incredibly student-friendly city, so you’ll never be short of things to do.
Located next to Elephant and Castle underground station, the campus offers easy access to the centre of London which, in turn, makes it easy to travel nationally and internationally via rail and plane. Many local buses also serve the area, making travel to local neighbourhoods easy.
