There are course-specific scholarships, merit based awards and means tested bursaries, funded by the university and by its generous network of sponsors and alumni donors. Prospective students are encouraged to consult the university website for full information, to check eligibility, and to be aware of any important dates and application deadlines.
Tuition fees for postgraduate students at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine depend on the specific course chosen, as well as the level of academic study. There are different tuition fee pricing groups for domestic and overseas students, as well as full-time and part-time rates. Students studying on distance learning programmes can also benefit from pay-as-you-go options, allowing payments to be spread evenly over 2–5 years. For the upcoming year, UK students studying Master’s degree courses can expect to pay between £10,990 and £13,650 for tuition fees, whereas overseas students can expect to pay between £22,710 and £31,350 for the duration of the course.
