Each year the university sets aside bedrooms for new postgraduates in several of the accommodation options offered to new students. The university’s accommodation options are located right in the city centre, close to all campus facilities. Rooms are modern and well-equipped with internet access as standard.
For those who want to live away from university accommodation, Liverpool Student Homes can help to find private rented accommodation. This may be in private halls of residence, or in shared houses in more residential areas of the city.
Students are advised to speak to the Liverpool Student Homes service to find reputable landlords from which to rent private housing.
Thanks to its continuing investment programme, LJMU has first class facilities across all faculties. The new Student Life Building and Sports Centre, for example, opened in 2021 and provides a one stop shop for all student support services.
The sport building incorporates an eight-court sports hall to Sport England specifications, featuring basketball, badminton, five-a-side, volleyball, netball, futsal, handball and two multi-purpose sports halls. There is also a gym over two floors which includes 120 workstations, giving plenty of space for students to relax and exercise.
