You can apply through Clearing from 5 July if:
In order to apply through Clearing, you will need your exam results. For the majority of students, exam results will be released on A-level Results Day, Thursday 14 August 2025 - although for some qualifications this may be sooner.
If you already have your qualifications, for example if you have taken some time away from education, you don't need to wait until Results Day to secure your place through Clearing. You can call your chosen university Clearing hotline to secure your place ahead of Results Day.

While you wait, you can get yourself prepared by researching courses and universities, registering for Clearing updates from the universities you're interested in and attending university summer Open Days and Clearing events. By getting prepared now, you'll be more confident in making your Clearing choices once you receive your results.
