Class sizes at KLC School of Design are intentionally kept very low, which ensures that lecturers and teachers are more readily available to offer support to students during their enrolment. Lecturers and teachers are able to advise on any academic support issues, as well as direct students to the appropriate resources for any help with more personal situations.
The school has its own Welfare Department, able to provide pastoral care for students who are often living away from home for the first time. This service is confidential and available either as face-to-face appointments, telephone conversations and also email. The team can offer guidance and support on a range of issues including financial worries, health issues (physical and mental), family or relationship problems and living arrangements.
The school also has a dedicated help section on the website for both seeking out accommodation and for careers advice.
