The college’s art courses, which make up most of its degree programmes, are mostly based at the Batley School of Art in Dewsbury. Facilities include a drive-in photography studio, library and gallery space.

Other courses are based at the Highfields Centre for Performance and Media in Huddersfield and the Dewsbury Centre.

Dewsbury is a market town that sits between Leeds and Huddersfield. The nightlife and shopping of Leeds is relatively close to hand, while if you want to get out of town, the Peak District National Park is a few miles south.
