WUSCA 2022 Lecturers and Teaching Quality

The Course and lecturers ranking was decided by students from this institution rating them in a Whatuni review. This formed the basis for the 2022 Whatuni Student Choice Awards (WUSCAs).

Hartpury prides itself on the quality of its curriculum, where students receive 25 per cent more contact hours than the UK average. As well as this, small class sizes provide a more personalised approach towards learning.

Tutors and lecturers have a wealth of practical experience which they can communicate to students from all backgrounds. 88 per cent of staff have teaching qualifications (2021), which places the university above the UK average of 67 per cent (academic year 19-20) (HESA 2021) and Hartpury University is ranked in the Top 20 UK Universities for Teaching Quality.

Courses are designed with industry needs in mind, which ensures their content is relevant to current professional practices, and the skills learnt are sought after by employers in the relevant field.

For example, veterinary nursing degrees are accredited by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons and the BSc Sports Therapy degree is accredited by the Society of Sports Therapists.
