Escape Studios does not have a traditional Students’ Union, but students will still enjoy many of the same benefits. There is a student experience team who offer all the support students may need both for their work and outside of their studies, including providing free access to the professional software needed. They also organise social events to help students get to know each other better.
As Escape Studios is part of Pearson College London, students are able to access the Pearson College Community Association (PCSA) as well. This includes more social and extra-curricular activities, all run by students for students.
The Pearson College Students Association (PCSA) runs a number of clubs and societies that Escape Studios students are eligible to join. These include the Raise and Give (RAG) society for charitable events, the Grub Club, and the Pearson Poker Club. All students, including postgraduate students, are entitled to join regardless of existing knowledge or ability.
Students at Escape Studios have also established a series of events across 5 named channels: active, charity, culture, education and nightlife. These events are diverse and appeal to a wide range of students, including bar crawls, late-night museum openings, sports and the annual Christmas party.
Escape Studios’ campus is situated in the heart of London, in an ideal location for anyone who wants to undertake a career in a creative industry. Students will have no trouble accessing essential facilities and transport links.
London is also a thriving hub of events that are related to the courses offered by Escape Studios. Students could attend the BFI Film Festival or MCM London Comic Con to immerse themselves in the culture and vibrancy of the worlds in which their future careers may be rooted.
Away from studying, London of course has ample places where students can unwind in their down time, from incredible restaurants to countless cinemas, theatres, sporting facilities and more.
