To complete a course at the College of Legal Practice, students will need to have an undergraduate degree (FHEQ level 6 or above) or equivalent (including equivalent work experience). Non-UK qualifications are recognised if equivalent to a UK degree. Applicants that do not have a legal background in England or Wales will usually need to complete a foundation in law programme before moving onto a postgraduate course. The college offers its own conversion course – The Graduate Foundation in Law. Applicants without a relevant degree may be able to gain entry based on past experience, as assessed on an individual basis.
