On 1 August 2024, City, University of London, merged with St George's, University of London. By combining legacy St George's world-leading specialism in health and medicine with legacy City's excellence in a breadth of disciplines including health, business, law, communications, policy and global affairs and science and technology, the merger has created opportunities to generate significant change in the world of healthcare through interdisciplinary working. This includes changes to treatment, population health monitoring, workforce development and leadership, policy, and advocacy.

As an internationally renowned institution, ranked 38th best university in the UK (Complete University Guide 2025), it was awarded silver in the Teaching Excellence Framework, with gold for graduate outcomes. City St George's has excellent subject-specific facilities and learning resources. The university invests intelligently in its built infrastructure and has spent £120 million since 2012 in developing its London campus facilities. This has included a full rehaul of the main campus entrance, and the design and construction of a new state-of-the-art 240-seat lecture theatre. For students studying in the School of Health & Medical Sciences, state-of-the-art facilities provide realistic environments to prepare students for professional practise across medicine and healthcare.
The main campus Library is a five-floor building which contains a huge archive of books, journals and digital learning materials. There are five additional specialist libraries for Bayes Business School (formerly Cass) and The City Law School.

Our Clerkenwell campus is located near Islington's fashionable Upper Street and the high-tech creative communities of Old Street and Shoreditch. Tree-lined avenues and green spaces offer contrast to the vibrant street life, bars and restaurants of Exmouth Market and Hoxton Square, while the nearby Barbican Centre is a world-famous architectural and cultural landmark.
Our Moorgate campus is where you will find Bayes Business School (formerly Cass), occupying a prime location in the City of London's financial hub, making it the ideal postgraduate study base for professionals working in the Square Mile.

As a result, entry requirements vary on a course-by-course basis. Undergraduate applicants are encouraged to visit the university website to find full information, as well as any key dates and deadlines.
Entry requirements are usually given in terms of A-level results, or UCAS tariff points, however applications are considered on their individual merits, and there are many alternative pathways to enrolment. Applicants with sufficient relevant experience may also be admitted onto courses, providing fundamental knowledge criteria is met.
