Read honest reviews from real students at this uni
Canterbury Christ Church University (CCCU) was established over 60 years ago and offers a wide range of courses across business, creative design, health, sport, education, science and engineering. Many of our courses can also be undertaken with a foundation year, which is a great way of getting into university if you have lower grades or if you choose to take a year to adapt to student life and study.
Cutting-edge facilities
We have multiple hi-tech facilities, including a stunning creative arts building, which is home to our games design hub and music studios, and a centre for engineering and technology. Engineers, scientists, doctors and healthcare students study together in an inspirational learning environment, with industry-standard equipment on every floor. It's also home to Kent and Medway's first-ever medical school.
Expert teaching
We are known for the care, support and inspiring education we offer our students, helping them reach their full potential to succeed. Many of our teaching staff continue to be active in their industries and professions, bringing real-world expertise into the classroom.
Great job prospects
Many of our courses are vocational and offer a lot of practical training in finding a job or career. In fact, CCCU has a great record for employability - we're 2nd in the UK for graduates in employment (HESA Graduate Outcomes 2026).
Excellent location
We are one of only a handful of universities to have a campus in a World Heritage Site. Canterbury is less than an hour on the train from London and is buzzing with student life. The campus is right in the centre of the city with beautiful coastlines and countryside on our doorstep. Medway is a historical naval town, and the campus is situated in a student-friendly quarter with a real vibrant atmosphere.
