The University has been around for nearly 60 years and offers courses in subjects from teacher education, medicine and nursing, to games design and archaeology, engineering, policing, sport and social sciences.
We have great new facilities including a stunning creative arts building, and a new centre for engineering and technology which just opened in January. This building locates engineers, scientists, doctors and healthcare students together in an inspirational learning environment, with industry-standard, hi-tech facilities on every floor. It is home to Kent and Medway’s first-ever medical school, in partnership with the University of Kent. Our academic and recreational sporting facilities offer the latest equipment.
We are known for the care, support and inspiring education we offer our students, helping them reach their full potential and succeed. Many of our teaching staff continue to be active in their industries and professions. So’ they bring real-world expertise into their teaching.
You’ll have great job prospects
Many of our courses are vocational and offer a lot of practical training towards finding a job or career. In fact, Christ Church has a great record for employability as shown in the latest HESA Graduate Outcomes survey.
We are one of only a handful of universities to have a campus in a World Heritage Site. Canterbury is less than an hour on the train from London and is buzzing with student life. The campus is right in the centre of the city with beautiful coast and countryside on our doorstep. Medway is a historical naval town and the campus is situated in a student-friendly quarter with a real village atmosphere.
