Brunel University London is located in Uxbridge, west London. Founded in 1966, it is a leading technology university, globally-renowned for its education and research, as well as its spirit of innovation and entrepreneurship. It attracts students from over 150 countries who study at Brunel due to its outstanding range of courses, progressive and international outlook, and the quality of its teaching.
Brunel is based on a single-site campus, meaning that students don’t have to travel around to attend classes or meet up with friends. It is a leafy campus with the river Pinn running through it, so there are many lovely spots to chill with friends.
The campus offers outstanding sports facilities. Brunel has a long and distinguished history in sport and whether you play at the highest competitive level or enjoy it for fitness and fun, there is a huge choice available. Our sports facilities are used by some of the world’s top athletes, including former 100m World Champion Yohan Blake and ‘Linford Christie Academy’ sprinters, trained by the 90s Olympic legend himself.
The library has 24-hour opening times (during term time), well-equipped classrooms, lecture theatres and study spaces. In addition, on-campus restaurants, shops, a bar and nightclub mean everything you need is with a 10-minute walk. Brunel has easy access to central London. Uxbridge underground station is a short walk away and from there you can be in central London in around 40 mins.
When it comes to employability, our award-winning Professional Development Centre offers a wealth of opportunities, resources and advice to prepare you for life after graduation. They will work with you to develop your professional skills and get you ready for work, self-employment or further study in the UK or abroad.
