UWE Bristol has 11 fantastic accommodation options both on-campus and in the city.
There are options to suit all budgets and tastes, with many halls having been recently refurbished.
Students can choose between standard bedrooms with a shared bathroom, or en-suite rooms in purpose-built flats of between two and eight students. All flats come with fully equipped shared kitchen and dining areas, and all have onsite laundry and communal social areas.
Accommodation fees range from £4,035.78 to £7,675.76 per year, depending on the type of halls and contract length chosen. Postgraduate students will usually be housed together but will be advised if the only option is shared housing with undergraduate students.
If students prefer to rent in the private sector, the university will help direct them to local accommodation websites, along with connecting them with registered and reliable landlords. University support services onsite can offer impartial advice if students did encounter any problems with a private tenancy, including signposting students to any third party help.
UWE Bristol has invested over £300 million in world-class facilities over the past five years.
The university has many impressive subject-specific facilities designed to help students gain practical experience using industry-standard equipment. These include a skills simulation suite replicating a real-life hospital, a financial trading room, animation studios, a flight simulator, mock courtrooms, a virtual law office, media studios, a crime scene house, and a new engineering centre.
There are also plenty of group and individual study spaces around the campuses, and a 24-hour library on Frenchay Campus. Students can also explore their musical talents at the Centre for Music, where they can take advantage of rehearsal studios, practice spaces, recording equipment, and much more.
In addition, sports and fitness fans will be impressed by the Centre for Sport, complete with fitness suites, an astro pitch, a climbing wall, and squash courts, along with a packed schedule of fitness classes.
