Bournemouth University’s Students’ Union (SUBU) is run by five full-time officers and has over 130 clubs and societies, as well as its student media outlet Nerve Media. The SU exists to represent students at the university, and offers a social hub with bars, cafes and a regular schedule of events.

Co-ordinated by the SU and SportBU, sports clubs and societies provide a great opportunity for students seeking to meet like-minded individuals at Bournemouth University. There are currently more than 130 societies and clubs available through the SU, ranging from the Alternative Performance Society to groups for rounders and Quidditch.
