In Cambridge, ARU has a range of different accommodation types available. All residences are self-catered, so you’ll have access to either a kitchen shared with your flatmates, or if you’re living in a studio your kitchen will be contained in your room.
The accommodation at Cambridge offers you the choice between ensuite or shared bathrooms. Some accommodations have double or three-quarter beds, but the majority are single. There’s a very limited number of twin rooms, which you would share with another student.
In Chelmsford, the university offers the Student Village. Here, you’ll find flats with between three and six students sharing. There’s a mixture of ensuite and shared bathroom facilities. You’ll have a kitchen in your flat which comes equipped with white goods, kettle, microwave and toaster, as well as cupboard space.
If you’re studying in Peterborough, the university doesn’t have its own accommodation. ARU can help you to find private rented accommodation, however, and provides online advice and guidance as well as providing links to sites where you can find listings.
