The ASU provides students with a friendly, supportive and lively atmosphere as well as offering advice and guidance. The students’ union is the voice of the students and work hard to make AECC an unforgettable experience.
ASU organise campaigns and events all year round to help students feel at home and to promote a healthy physical, social and mental lifestyle at university. The members of ASU have also established multiple sports clubs and societies.
In addition, the ASU take part in many national campaigns and events to raise awareness and promote healthy living amongst the wider society, and if this is something that students might be interested in, they can run for any positions within the ASU.

AECC University College offers so much more than just study. The clubs and societies organised by the students’ union cover all kinds of interests, so postgraduate students are sure to find something to keep them busy when they’re not studying, working out or catching up with friends.
Students at AECC will have access to the on-campus gym, which co-ordinates a range of weekly classes. They will also receive a discounted rate for BH Live gyms in the local area giving students access to studios, courts as well as football and swimming facilities.
AECC University College is very big on health and wellbeing, so it's only natural that they have a number of sports teams and societies on campus. For those who are interested in something that is not currently running, students are well supported to create a new club and recruit members.
