Tell us about your overall university experience so far.
friendly staff, clean environment, plenty of facilities and locations to get food and drink, very nice drinking water fountains! very modern, overall, so far so good.
How does your uni make efforts to increase your employability (careers department, work placements, transferable skills)?
The process is ongoing
Course and Lecturers
What do you like most and least about the way your course(s) are taught?
They are very informative, gripping, and humerous (which always helps)
What do you think of your Students' Union in terms of student representation and facilities?
Haven't had time to google search the meaning of the term Students' Union yet... being part time, I am unaware if it applies to me and what it is...I should probably look it up...self set homework for tonight maybe?
How good are your university's facilities?
Overall pretty spotless.... very clean, looks like Hogwarts with the staircases. The libraries are good, however they NEED recycling bins OUTSIDE along side the WASTE bins, they have some inside but what use is that to people who a) just finish studies, get some food and drink from shop, go outside to make a phone call and then you have nowhere to put your rubish without having to double back inside which is no UNACCEPTABLE for people with mobility disabilities... forcing them to place perfectly good plastic bottles etc into WASTE...
...RECYCLING BINS OUTSIDE IS A MUST!
Is your university in a good location in terms of distance to accommodation and local amenities?
Societies and Sports
How would you rate the variety of societies/sports?
too much time studying, writing, and looking after the little one
How good is the support offered by the uni? Think both academic (tutors/feedback) and personal (counselling, etc).
very good. friendly and informative. very helpful. maybe have someone to help with "Student Finance Wales" on campus and available to take questions more often.
