I am studying with Castleman Learning Network based in Bournemouth and Poole and overseen by University of Worcester. It is such a supportive course, fast feedback, someone always happy to answer questions, great signposting to resources and really helpful support with thinking about next steps.

The support i received when I lost my dad before joining the uni and having to defer a year was phenomenal. This has not changed since. In my particular courses the support that’s given is unmatchable. The lecturers are like your family and friends. My academic and career journey has flourished whilst being at Worcester University. I came to uni, scared, extremely vulnerable and very doubtful of myself. Now, in my second year I am a complete different person, and I believe I am finally at home in myself now. I am so excited to see how much I have changed at the end of my university journey. It is all thanks to my university lecturers, i owe them so much!

I love the culture of Worcester, it is felt within the university. The university really feels like part of the wider Worcester community. As a commuting student, the location of the university can be a bit of challenge to reach.

The university itself is a great looking place to study but it is rotten from the core, there's a very cliquey feel to everything about the Student's Union. My department's leadership has a personal vendetta against me which they have made quite clear.

its nice because you can experience the city life without it being too busy or overcrowded, worcester is also near the country side as well as big cities like birmingham. the people and architecture are nice. the university could be improved by expanding in size and lowering the price of student hall accomodation.
