Enjoyed it. Campus is good and clean. All staff are friendly - cooks, cleaners, tutors.
Lots of opportunities given.
4 days uni 9-4
1 day placement 8.30-4.30
Clean need recycling bins in canteen though.
Good location, easy to park etc.
They have careers department week but nothing is CV worthy. Need more summer long placements
I enjoy the course
Needs more and they need to be more active with more support from the university too
Getting trained on the course more possibility of a job in the future.
37.5 - lectures are too long
Good - but need better and modern equipment and more book in library!
Team based learning.
Expensive for a few hours of sports should be free
Do not really attend, any on occasions.
no sports societies not made aware of societies.
Applying theory to practice
my course sets you up for a job in later life.
37.5 hours a week mainly spent in placement
do not attend the SU cafe is good for term time
In my first year I found the accommodation secure poor this is better in second year
small lecture rooms to accommodate a large cohort
Walsall is a quiet campus but close to chops and hospital etc
No sports clubs no midwifery society
poor support inter msg accommodation services would not recommend to new student.
More effort is needed for those who have nursing background as they are not set up any job and no IT is provided
Support and feedback could be improved, but some facilities are helpful for my degree.
Unsuitable rooms on occasions leading to cancelled lectures
Good resources at library, however some books very outdated
nothing for midwifery
feedback is somewhat limited
Mon-Fri 9-4. Some lectures better than others.
Don't her from them
New skills lab
Travel to uni, don't go out nearby
Don't do them
personal tutor meetings
