Best: There are so many options for optional modules you can take, so it really gives a good variety of modules that I am interested in which may not directly relate to my main degree. The teachers here are also lovely and very approachable, providing lots of support, and finally, the location of the campus is great. I feel safe, and it is also in central Worst: I think mainly the timetable scheduling and the process for changing modules. It is very difficult to make any changes to these, and I find it a bit frustrating sometimes.

the strong focus on employability. The Westminster Employability Award helps students build their CV, gain experience, and prepare for jobs in a supportive and motivating way rather than a stressful one. There are many career events where employers visit, which is great for networking. The partnership with Graduate First and the new Zone 29 careers space also provide excellent support. Modules include real-life case studies, allowing us to solve real company problems, which makes learning practical and engaging.
There's a lot of campus in London, so you can go to libraries in different places and meet different people. Maybe the design of some of the campuses could be more catered towards to study spaces but I understand that in a central London location it's difficult to cater to all the resources needed.
The University of Westminster is full of opportunities, it is genuinely incredible, always growing and bringing you experiences you can not miss. The University of Westminster works on creating a safe and balanced atmosphere for the students, a place where support is always available.
Being at the heart of central London, Uni of Westminster has tremendously contributed in my overall development as a student from overseas. The opportunity to interact with professionals from diverse backgrounds on a campus that thinks and lives modern helps me stay on par with everything going on in my surrounds. The golden opportunity to enhance my career and financial growth came from the massive amount of part-time job opportunities within the university - providing me with first-hand experience that came from working hands-on with a group of career-oriented individuals who I am proud to call a part of my network today.

Best aspects of my university experience The best part of my university experience has been the diversity of people and opportunities. I have met students from a wide range of cultural and academic backgrounds, which has made discussions more engaging and broadened my perspective. The university offers strong industry exposure through placements, guest lectures, and networking events, which helped me gain real world experience and clarity about my career path. Many lecturers are supportive and approachable, especially when you show genuine interest, and the practical focus of modules helps bridge the gap between theory and industry. The central location is also a big advantage, with easy access to professional events, internships, and part time work. Worst aspects and areas for improvement One of the more challenging aspects has been inconsistency across modules. Some are extremely well organised and engaging, while others lack clear structure, timely feedback, or up to date content. Administrative processes can also be slow or unclear at times, which can be frustrating when dealing with assessments, timetables, or support services. Communication between departments could be improved to ensure students receive consistent and accurate information. Improving feedback quality and ensuring all modules maintain the same high standard would significantly enhance the overall student experience.

The best aspects include the location and extracurricular initiatives. The university offers a wide range of opportunities to explore beyond your course. There are enterprise programmes, language schemes, short-term global mobility opportunities, and much more. The location provides access to unique networking opportunities. The worst aspect might be the fact that my specific campus has limited study rooms. The Regent's St campus doesn’t have a library, so students hunt for empty classrooms.
The location is great however the lectures could be more of engaging.
What make it best is the employment opportunities university try to encourage students to explore out there ex, WEA, employment week, WWC, Talent Bank, etc What make it less satisfying is the classroom environment especially when it out of university control to brings students to class and participate as they should
A lot of study spaces which have different vibes, like environments.
The university is a great place to study because it provides the most modern facilities and newest equipment. The course content could be made more challenging to better stretch students and prepare them for industry.
The refectory is too small. Student gather up in the library and are always noisy. They are not there to study just congregate and disturbing others.
Nice
Great location needs more community
I truly feel that the University of Westminster has consistently provided me with resources and opportunities to develop my professional practice. There are numerous workshops, facilities and technology that allow me to produce a postgraduate portfolio, and the staff are so supportive. I feel lucky to have been a part of the team (School Representative) and, therefore, have seen firsthand how much the teachers and head of school care about students and learning experiences. The Harrow campus is a very large space with many amenities, including a gym, sports hall, and more. The only downside I can mention is that Harrow is quite far from the other campuses, and travelling to and attending societies and events on the main campuses is time-consuming.
We have great support, amazing and well funded opportunities such as WWC, exchanges, summer school. The lack of staff for the art facilities is a big shame as we have great workshops that we unfortunately cannot use.
The location and campus are great. You never really run out of things to do, especially since you're in central London. Another thing that I like is how active the SU is with societies, activities and events. In my experience, lecturers are super helpful. They're always available to help and answer questions.

Studying at Westminster is defined by its unbeatable London location and diverse international community, which makes you feel instantly connected to the professional world. However, the experience is often frustrated by disorganized administration and a "commuter culture" that can make socializing harder than at traditional campus universities. It’s an excellent choice for industry links and career focus, but you need to be independent and prepared for high living costs to truly thrive here.

It is a great place to study because the university provides a strong academic environment with supportive lecturers, practical learning opportunities, and a diverse student community. The combination of theoretical knowledge and real-world applications helps students develop both critical thinking and professional skills. In addition, the campus facilities and resources, such as libraries and study spaces, create a productive learning atmosphere.
One of the best aspects of my course has been the support and encouragement I receive from my tutors and lecturers. The teaching team creates an environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and seeking guidance, which has made my learning experience much more positive and confidence-building. I feel especially grateful to my personal tutor. She has been incredibly supportive throughout my time on the course, always taking the time to listen, advise, and guide me whenever I needed help. Even when situations have been urgent, she has been willing to respond and assist, sometimes even outside regular working hours. Her personal interest in my development, particularly in helping me with career planning and placement opportunities, has meant a great deal to me and has genuinely shaped my experience at the university in a very positive way. Overall, I have enjoyed my course and feel that it has helped me grow both academically and professionally. I look forward to continuing to build on what I have learned and making the most of the opportunities available to me.
