It’s a great place with great opportunities and networks.
The University of Westminster is a great place to study because of its diverse and welcoming community, supportive lecturers, and excellent London location. Studying in London provides valuable opportunities for networking, internships, part-time work, and exposure to different industries, which helps students connect their studies to real-world careers. I have also appreciated the practical elements of my course, such as group projects, presentations, and research tasks, which have helped me develop communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills that will be useful after graduation. The university could be improved by making communication across modules more consistent, especially regarding assessment deadlines, expectations, and feedback. More detailed and timely feedback would help students understand how to improve their work. Additional quiet study spaces, extended library availability during busy periods, and more career-focused workshops, networking events, and employer connections would further enhance the student experience. Expanding wellbeing and mental health support and ensuring students can clearly see how their feedback is acted upon would also help students feel more supported and valued throughout their time at Westminster. Overall, Westminster offers a positive and enriching student experience that encourages both academic and personal growth, and with a few improvements it could become an even stronger environment for future students.
Great sports teams and societies and helpful lecturers. Very inclusive and lots of opportunity to develop in different ways e.g. wenetwork and support with starting your own business. Not sure how it can be improved.
It has multiple different campus’s at different locations on london, which is great for when you want to study. The facilities are always clean and staff are generally very friendly. Majority of lectures I have had have been very helpful and you can learn a lot from them. There are also so many great opportunities to help your career development which is great. I think the social aspect of the university needs improving, there are many societies but a lot of these don’t host many events.
the location and the people are what make it a great place to study at and it could be improved through increased student support.
This University really takes care of their students! It covers every aspect of the Uni journey with great care and enthusiasm. There are many opportunities and possibilities to join different additional programmes and activities that can enrich your Uni journey. The professors are great! There are free field trips each year. Excellent student service!

The best aspect of my university experience has been the practical nature of the Computer Games Development course. I had plenty of opportunities to build projects rather than only study theory, which allowed me to develop my programming skills through real problems and learn from mistakes. I particularly enjoyed the freedom to experiment with different technologies and approaches in my final-year project, as well as working on group projects where I had to collaborate with other programmers, artists, and designers. The worst aspect has been that some parts of the course could have been better organised, particularly when it came to the consistency of teaching and the resources available for certain modules. Some topics required a lot of independent research to properly understand, although this did also teach me to become more self-directed and comfortable learning new technologies on my own. Overall, I appreciated the freedom the course gave me to explore software and game development, and I feel that the practical experience has been one of the most valuable parts of my university experience.
The best part of my university experience has been meeting people from different backgrounds and having the opportunity to develop both academically and personally. I’ve also enjoyed the practical side of my course, particularly projects that allowed me to apply what I learned to real-world situations. The location and opportunities available in London have also been a big advantage.

The best part of Westminster was the people and the opportunities beyond the classroom. I was able to get involved in research, the Legal Advice Clinic and student activities, which really helped me grow in confidence and professionally that made look into my interests and career at the bar The main area for improvement would be to have more options at the law school cafe (can do better coffee ;) ). Overall, Westminster was a rewarding experience that helped me grow both academically and personally
Best: the technicians worst: very difficult to get help from visa team
University of Westminster is located in the heart of London. It's closest to all of the historical monuments and places. Which makes it really fun to study. Whenever a student feel a bit bored or sad, can take a walk around and will immediately feel better. The student service is also the best. However, the timing of classes are sometimes not making sense. Like one class in the morning, and the next in the noon. Which makes life a bit difficult. However, overall it's a fun place to study
The location of The University of Westminster in the heart of London provides incredible opportunities to immerse yourself in History, culture, restaurants and nightlife. The University has amazing lecturers, fantastic facilities, and wonderful student support, both academic and personal. The campuses offer a variety of facilities so it is important to look at both the course and the campus selected.

I feel like at Westminster I’ve had all the support that I needed to complete my studies. We have lots of resources to reach out to and very friendly and helpful staff.
It was so great. You have so many amazing social facilities like the hideaway. The lecturers make an effort to build a relationship with you and honestly the academic side of it is great but it also makes sure you have the proper uni experience
My experience at the University of Westminster has been very positive. Studying in central London gave me access to great professional, social and networking opportunities, while the university offered plenty of ways to get involved beyond academics. I particularly valued the practical approach to learning, supportive lecturers and opportunities to develop my confidence and professional skills. While organisation and communication could sometimes be improved, overall I had a rewarding experience. Graduating with First Class Honours, I feel Westminster gave me a strong foundation for the next stage of my career and I would encourage students to make the most of the opportunities available.
