Brilliant. Good support and learnt a lot. Fantastic links with industry and course heavily linked to automotive industry. great lecturers who want best for all students and teach at great pace.
Fantastic guest lectures and support to contact industry in all areas. brilliant staff communication to help into work experience
Like small lectures groups maximum 30 students in a lecture so can easily speak to lecturer if not understanding the subject. Least favourite is assignments which have been hard to understand
Students union is good with a desk in the main uni building. Easy to contact and use.
Fantastic class/ study rooms and excellent experiment and workshop areas.
Fantastic location 5 minute walk to town centre and 10 minute walk from my rented house.
Good amount of societies covers all interests.
fantastic able to contact lecturers within a day and all respond right away to emails
It has been good and very interesting. nice to meet new people. the lectures are the best they teach you whatever to learn about any subject. would not choose another uni.
they have guest lectures which are good
i like that it small class room and lectures are available .
facilities are great and available to students
the are really good.
it is in the centre of Swansea, but Swansea is a small place.
The university often has enhancement sessions to aid in employability
I most enjoy the motorcycle related application of engineering principles, it fuels my passion for the subject.
They have been helpful to me
State of the art
Yes it is in very nice harbour location, the views are tranquil.
The motorsport opportunities are great for keen racers
Very small class, the contact with the teachers is my fav part of my education at UWTSD
My overall experience with my university is that it has been very challenging however there is amazing support offered and I very much enjoy the topics that I have learnt.
They are very good at increasing the employability of your person as they provide seminars for creating a cv and LinkedIn.
The thing I like most about the course is there's a lot of support if you are unsure of yourself and your ability. The thing I like the least about the course there is so much content you can learn you just have little time to do it in, nonetheless you still learn so much doing this course.
They are okay
Very good the workshop is kitted out.
Yes it's a short walk from the center of town.
Very good I was once in the ladies football team and it was a great experience.
Very very good, you cannot fault the support offered by the uni.
my experience at university has been excellent i have progressed academically as well as personally. i have also made new friends and engaged in new sporting activities
plenty of guest lectures and regular updates about upcoming applications and job opportunities for graduates and internships.
i would prefer more hands on and practical work to support the theory aspect
there isnt much
brand new campus with excellent facilities, workshops and lecture rooms.
the city is very easy to get around with plenty of bus links. the campus is based in the harbour and can be reached very easily either by walking or driving. parking is ample and there is a supermarket near by
there are a wide array of sports and societies to take part in although more support from the SU would be greatly received
very good there is always a lecturer to talk to for feedback they are very friendly and can be reached easily by email to arrange meetings
They try to make the student think for them selves. It's good because the success of the student is entirely dependent on them. The resources are plentiful to succeed.
the lectures are usually engaging but sometimes you need to dig for information on your own for course work. Good and bad for the students that don't have to work ethic needed.
Not sure about the personal but the lecturers are very available.
Very good, far better than my previous uni (usw)
Keep content interesting
Probably, I live 45 miles away and commute
very very good nightlife is wicked and very cheap wind street is the place to be
many ways work placements ect
low class numbers
very good and clen !!!!!!
brillant best uni ever
room for so many activites
very very good
It is great. This university has a very different teaching approach to others, a more practical as opposed to academic approach, with small class sizes. Lecturers are great and offer one to one support.
most: very good way of teaching, different to other universities. practical approach with direct contact with lecturer. small class sizes
Very good support but bad organisation
Its been great, loved first year and second year is looking fun so far plenty of content and interesting stuff to get into. Lecturers have been great apart from one who has now been let go anyway.
Links with loads of industry and lots of helpful sezssions.
Like the small
Its pretty good
Excellent the new buildings are fantastic
Yes very good
excellent lots of motorsport and sport societies
Excellent plenty of pastoral and supplement sessions.
