THIRD YEAR

Psychology with Clinical Approaches

University rating (5)

The University of Sussex is such a vibrant, friendly and tolerant university. There are lots of societies so you are guaranteed to find a society that would suit your interests. There's always such a open and social atmosphere around uni and on campus. I found that the lectures and seminars at the University of Sussex were very engaging and interactive throughout my time at Sussex. As a third year, I couldn't be happier with my uni choice and I have had a great time at Sussex and made great friends and learned a lot about myself along the way.

The people here are very helpful and friendly. I had lots of help settling in. The weather is probably the worst part of the experience, can't do anything about that of course Overall it was an amazing experience:)

Liberal Arts - BA (Hons)

University rating (5)

Love the campus, so many amazing study facilities like the library and student centre, however it would be even better if the student centre had more quiet study areas like the second floor. Alongside this, I believe there should be more communal areas such as Northfield bar and Falmer bar, as Falmer bar is one of the more relaxed places where u can meet people. There are common rooms around the campus, and I think these should be advertised more.

Foundations of Clinical Psychology and Mental Health MSc

University rating (4)

All the staff are very friendly and the course is well organised. It would be nice to have more chill study spots of campus, more coffee shops. Also it would be nice to have more rooms available to book for student group study

Art History and Museum Curating MA

University rating (5)

I love the campus at Sussex, it has such a homely feel and the fact that it is set in the downs gives it such a nice community and natural feeling!! There are also so many facilities on campus such as the library and student centre for studying along with other separate study rooms in each of the different buildings along with coffee shops and cafes!! My courses, both my previous BA of Art History and current MA are amazing , the undergrad so much so that I was desperate to stay on and complete my Masters here!!

Human Rights MA

University rating (5)

The students and lecturers and all staff are so welcoming and friendly, having come to Sussex to continue my higher education and do a MA, everyone has made my settling in period so much easier and smooth. The facilities such as the library, the GSRC, and student support centre have amazing places to go and sit down to study and focus which has been so beneficial for all of us as students. One thing that would be great, if possible would be to have the library open 24 hours, as I know for myself and many others working at night can be when we are most productive and working at home can be challenging to maintain all your focus.

SECOND YEAR

Psychology with Neuroscience

University rating (5)

I think the facilities on campus makes it such a great place to study, the undergoing research that takes place at the uni labs are incredible and world-changing, makimg it such an exciting place to learn. I think a lot of buildings are very old, miserable and old fashioned so I think some could be re made to match the modern buildings on campus.
