Well organized, professors are friendly and knowledgeable.

The room is spacious and nice, but the toilets and kitchen appliances keep malfunctioning.

I enjoy the immersion that comes with the PGCE course, which involves 4 days at my placement school and university every Friday. The lecturers are lovely, down-to-earth, and easy to approach, so that's made the course a lot more enjoyable. The only criticism I currently have is that it is difficult to manage the workload with my course - I know PGCEs are notoriously demanding, but there is an extensive amount of set reading to do at home, and with the increasing amount of responsibility of teaching and lesson-planning, it's incredibly easy to fall behind and be enveloped in it. Whilst I completely expected this to happen, it would be helpful if the course included advice or guidance for students on how to manage this.

I study at the Sussex AI Institute of Zhejiang Gongshang University in China. The teachers here are all really dedicated and have high expectations for us—they take attendance every class to keep us on track with our studies. In class, they stick closely to the main topics and often link them to real-life scenarios to help us understand better. They also care a lot about the quality of homework.

The dorm is super comfortable to live in—it keeps me energized enough to get through all my tasks every day! The only downside is that the Wi-Fi signal here can be pretty spotty sometimes, not very stable at all.

The course is taught in person, but is mostly down to independent study. Some of the lecturers could be a lot better at communicating certain important things. Hate that we're encouraged to use AI.

No specific facilities for course but teaching is good and we can go to tutors for help any time

The University of Sussex is located in Brighton, one of the UK’s most vibrant and creative cities. Its seaside atmosphere, lively arts scene, and diverse community make it an inspiring place to study and live. The campus itself is surrounded by the beautiful South Downs National Park, offering a peaceful environment just a short train ride from London. It’s the perfect balance between nature and city life. The only downside is that living costs in Brighton can be relatively high, especially for accommodation, but the quality of life, friendly atmosphere, and cultural richness make it absolutely worth it.

The course is tough but I am learning a lot. I'm glad I am able to study what I like. The debates are sometimes really hard to follow. Even if I did the reading, sometimes it is hard to understand it so it is even harder to talk about it.

I like how it is very cheap. It is good for my budget. The repairment of things are sometimes very slow.

The lecturers are approachable and always open to questions. You can easily talk to them after class，on the seminar or during office hours. Usually, for each course we have one lab session and two lectures each week,and there’s a good balance between lectures, seminars, and self-study time.

The location of my accommodation is close to the teaching buildings, the student center and the eat center. The accommodation services are well managed. The staff are friendly and helpful whenever there’s a problem. The wifi can sometimes be slow ,especially in the evenings.

Not having a personal tutor provides an issue as there isn’t someone to build a relationship with and talk to comfortably about issues in my course. The teaching quality has been excellent so far and the facilities are majority new and good quality. The content has been very varied so far providing me a good overview into all aspects of business.

The swanborough flats I stay in are rather dated and have old kitchen and communal areas leading to breaking of facilities e.g. temperamental hobs and freezers and uncomfortable sofas. The property management is so so with cleaners being very good so far while actual maintenance has so far also been adequate. The reception however is only open 8-4:30 on weekdays which is different to other halls creating an issue. The actual room is comfortable but small and dated only being provided with a single bed. Despite this the location is excellent being close to lecture halls and the co-op on campus.

in class sessions are great, always inclusive and optional to talk and get involved but always a safe open speak if you want to ask or add anything!
