Keep things up to date and repair things right away when broken, such as the ventilation system in the downstairs Fleming labs. Other than that nice campus, most lecturers very good, good that lectures are still recorded for revision purposes.
Significant expansion and investment needed for paramedic science… already a lot for nursing, medicine and pharmacology. However, not enough for paramedics lot of equipment that’s near its end of its life, state of the art facilities at Helen McCardle not utilised, MDT approach needed with other services such as police and fire service, alongside simulated MDT approach with nursing and medical students
I am here past 2 months, I feel it is a great place to study.
The ambience, the serenity of the environment and the laid back approach. These are the best aspects of my uni experience. The worst aspect is the weather.
The best experience is that university is giving us chance to meet and learn from different leaders and SU union. What I feel university need to improve is that need to show little bit of flexibility in course fee for international students where already an international student faces a lot of challenges.
The school system is good and the education system is nice as well. It the best choice for me
The University of Sunderland has good and not-so-good things to consider. On the positive side, they have strong programs in subjects you like, good facilities such as libraries and labs, and transportation system and helpful support services for students. The location is also important; some people like busy cities, while others prefer quieter places. The faculty of University is highly qualified and co-operative. On the not-so-good side, you need to think about the cost of studying there, including tuition fees and living expenses. The size of classes matters too; some students prefer smaller classes for more attention from teachers. My personal suggestion to University is that after taking 50% fee, the remaining 50% fee should be in instalments for the ease of the students. Because new place sometimes takes time for adjustments.
