The student union is great and the gym is nearby too.
Can be hard to complete all the work but its rewarding and has good prospects
Overall approach of teaching is good with the aim to improve research. Classes for master students could be more offline to have better interaction.
Course is designed well however could be more supportive for those who got earlier studies the same or from outside of the UK.
Location is the best part of the Uni. There is nothing i can see to change about it
People are friendly but it was hard to get integrated into uni during my first semester due to COVID restrictions
Professors are very friendly and approachable, but course could do better at professional development and helping with career planning after the degree is finished
Glasgow is a great city with lots going on. Strathclyde is close to the city center but it's pretty easy to get to other places in the city via walking or public transport
Newly renovated this year (2021) and very nice. I have an amazing view of Glasgow Cathedral and the Necropolis. Kitchens have two fridges, sinks, and cookers, so I've had no issues sharing with five other people.
Staff are very supportive. They should employ more administrative staff.
Blended teaching, and lecturers are very approachable.
Glasgow is a very fun city and Strathclyde is right in the centre of town. A lot of cool music and art.
They ve got everything necessary for a student.
Most courses are online this time.that is the only issue.otherwise its all fine
Best - quality of teaching and coursework Worst - nothing, except the general confusion when starting to use myplace, it could possibly improved to be more user friendly for first time users
Best - very supportive lecturers, great quality of teaching and coursework Worst - nothing
Glasgow and Scotland are lovely, the food is great and people are generally very friendly. The center is full of bars, cafes, shops, cinemas. It’s cool to live here in your 20s.
best aspects are the facilities including learning and teaching building,
needs more in person
Great university for engineering, great facilities and lovely new campus buildings and StrathSport Gym. Great students with lots of societies that you can get involved with. You get out what you put into the societies. Worst aspects are probably the costs of private accommodation in the centre of Glasgow after you move out of halls, along with the high price of surrounding housing in Merchant City.
Great course content to set you up for engineering products, but may be lacking for those wanting to become mechanical engineers. Lots of CAD work, and a huge variety of project work throughout your study time. Great variety of content, but may not be for someone looking to specialise. Contact time is high in the first few years but drops significantly in 4th and 5th year and you largely work on projects independently. This can be great, but also means you don't always feel like you still attend university.
We love Strathclyde . Well organised university . Professor are very good always available to help .
Professor are always available . We have their email id any doubt they are their to help .
Although, the most learning are held in online, the system is very helpful for studying.
This course will be of great benefit to the technology advancement of the future.
