Some of the best aspects so far in my Uni live is how supportive they are with students, I honestly feel very assured whilst going about my Uni life as they put us as their main priority a lot of the times, good and quick responses from their admins and very friendly staff overall. The weaker aspects would be the method of running certain classes I find to be a bit hard to follow along as they say they will teach certain things from scratch yet jump straight into topics expecting us to have read prior to the lecture/class
My courses are mostly taught in person, the best aspect is usually my tutorials which I find to be the most helpful and learn mostly from that since the class is more engaging and smaller in size making it more concentrated. However I do wish that certain subjects provided lectures rather than just making us read the study material and learning from that, as I find being taught vocally by a person helps a lot

Blended learning, great opportunities like dissection
Thank you for your feedback
Amazing city with a superb location with the proximity to the peaks. The student life is also smashing with the union always putting on a night. The sports facilities could be improved though.
Good facilities and teaching but placement could be more organsied
Location was fab and the village felt safe. A bit expensive though
Thank you for your feedback
Great students union with lots of helping hands however accommodation is quite far from lectures but the city itself is great
Due to strikes it’s been hard to grasp all aspects of the course so hopefully more can be done by the government to get university teaching back on track and normalised
Quite far from the city however great on site facilities
Thank you for your feedback
nice location, good facilities & students union, lots of societies
engaging lectures, interesting topics, well structured
nice location, room has everything you need
Thank you for your feedback
The city and student life are generally good. Support is limited however and I have struggled with accessing the uni mental health service. The students union is amazing with everything you could want in one building- my only suggestion would be longer opening times for the outlets. I also think there could potentially be more on campus study spaces as, during exam season, it can be nearly impossible to find a space.
This course is regarded by some people as the hardest one at the uni. Our modules seem to contain a lot of content yet are still worth the same amount of credits as modules with less content. Luckily we do get a decent amount of contact hours and face to face teaching which is good. Personally, as someone who struggles to manage workload etc, I would like more contact time with my tutor but I’m still pretty sure we get a lot more than loads of other departments.
Quite expensive
Thank you for your feedback
Great experience but the sports and learning facilities could be improved
Placements could be better organised but overall pretty amazing
Thank you for your feedback
SU is great/ doctors are helpful but gym is so expensive and not great
no complaints - support and interactive work
Thank you for your feedback
Very friendly and welcoming place. Lots of support from the students union. Also absolutely loads of societies so no matter what you’re interested in there’s a society for you. In particular the medsoc for medical students such as myself has been extremely helpful and run excellent revision sessions and socials.
Almost everything has been in person (aside from a 2 week online block in January) which I think is important to meet new people and help focus better. It is a very busy course starting with 9am lectures most days that run until about 12 and then things to do in the afternoon too such as a GP placement. I think in particular the early contact with patients help maintain motivation as you remember why you want to do medicine
