Computer Science

University rating (4)

My classmates are kind and the university is always willing to ask questions. However, I wish that their scheduling of lectures wouldn’t result in one day taking the majority of lectures.

BA Art and History of Art

University rating (3)

The best part about studying at the University of Reading is the wide range of joint degrees it offers. through my joint degree I have been able to access not just Art Historical modules but also modules from the History, Museum Studies, and Language and Culture departments making for a diverse programme of study. Furthermore, the amount of green space on campus is particularly refreshing allowing for plenty of outdoor, studying and leisure on campus. the campus facilities are broad with a number of shops and cafes spread across campus

History - BA (Hons)

University rating (4)

I love the campus. The campus is full of life and things to do. I would like for the university to put more funding into communal areas for students.

The campus is very big and it might take 20-25 minutes to get to the lecture walking. But the campus is very nice and the lessons are very interesting

Psychology with Professional Placement

University rating (4)

The campus and accommodation feels very homely and the lecturers are all passionate about their work. Organization of more interactive applied oppurtunities could be done to improve the quality of education.

Economics - BA (Hons)

University rating (5)

A green, easy to navigate campus, a brilliant library. Pastoral care has lacked a bit; maybe closer ties with a tutor.

MA Applied Linguistics

University rating (4)

The best is the support from teachers and other students. The worst is that the library doesn’t have access to enough of some important books.

Architecture

University rating (4)

Best aspect is the campus. I really like both campuses even though I’m only mainly on the London Road Campus. There is no worst part in this uni but maybe we could have more opportunities to take part in international events or more opportunities to network
