I feel as if the course prepares us well for our placements and covers a wide variety of content

Childs hall was in the perfect location as it was close to lectures whilst also being near to park bar and laundry facilities! There are also two bus stops near by

The teachers make all of their contact hours clear which is quite useful. The quality of teaching is mixed, while it is clear some lecturers are very passionate about their field, some lack this passion making for a less engaging lesson.

The location of this accommodation is good as there is a bar and food place located just downstairs as well as a laundry room. The size of the room is nice and I have a nice view from outside of my window. However, directly below my room is a pathway that has people walking down frequently through the night making some nights very noisy. The sink in the rooms is not drinking water which seems pointless to me.

mostly contact learning, not as online as most uni's but interesting course and helpful lecturers

had a broken bathroom for the whole year so I had to share with 3 others, not a very good response and maintenance didn't really care, and told me to "let" the roof fall down rather than them coming to fix it, could have been easily fixed when first reported but they ignored it so the whole room was out of use and ceeling fell down and corridor flooded every month because of it

We have had a few recorded online lectures this year, and I find it hard to learn effectively this way. I think more time spent in the lab would be beneficial. I think sometimes, we are not given enough instruction for assignments - particularly maths based. Overall, the standard of lectures is very high.

Except for the intense nature of the course because of so many modules, I believe this is a great course especially with the blend of practical learning with theory.

While the location is great and the hall is well maintained, the problem is with the allocation. For example, I was allocated with people who couldn't speak a word of English in the UK (very strange indeed!) and made the kitchen very dirty.

best- lectures are quite spread out worst- some of the lectures are hard to understand or make their topic very uninteresting

best- amazing location and facilities worst - very expensive for no social areas or sofas etc

I would like more practicals in my course, but apart from that, the course is enriching and there is lots of in-class contact time with lecturers.

I liked that the halls were conveniently located, being only a ten minute walk to campus. I also appreciated the capacity to live alone and that the University has the option for solo living for mature students like myself. The flat was well-heated in winter and well-equipped. I did find it frustrating having to pay the rent quarterly, which was difficult financially, and it was also expensive for what it was. It was also difficult for me living so close to so many people, many of whom had children, due to the noise levels.

each module varies differently but i like that i get some freedom in choosing what modules i want to pursue

quite expensive but location is good near shops and buses going to town and kitchen is fairly modern
