Animation - BA (Hons)

University rating (4)

It's in a great location with walking distance of the town and shops. You can make lots of great friends and there's many societies for you to join like the Animated Movie and Series Society! What could be improved is there being more opportunities for students to make money and make a change.

Archaeology

University rating (5)

The relatively compact campus and easy to use map available on the website make the university itself a breaze to get around, and its proximity to the city centre makes it ideal for nights out or a quick bite to eat during lunchtime. All the staff are always super friendly and helpful, and student ambassadors are can always be found around campus to help guide you where you need to go.

Law - LLB (Hons)

University rating (5)

UCLan (UoL) is such a beautiful university. One unique thing about it is its diversity and all-round inclusivity to all students irrespective of gender, social status and race. It is vastly spread out within Preston as well which I find quite fascinating while exploring other departments within various different buildings owned by UCLan (UoL). I appreciate how students can read and catch up on notes or workload in not only the library but places like the student centre and other personal areas in different buildings while ideally prioritising comfort for students and creating a positive atmosphere. Student support is also very helpful and willing to assist in respect to wellbeing. With that, I would highly recommend UCLan (UoL) to my friends. It's a school I would love for them to visit and study in.
