The University of Dundee is a great place to study for all. They are very welcoming and inclusive to people from all countries and genders. The range of courses to choose from is massive and there is something for everyone here! The professors are very supportive and highly available to help in any way they can! Some buildings are very dated inside and could be upgraded, but we always had all the materials needed for our studies. I found most of the buildings were heated too much for myself and others, but as we dress in layers in Scotland, it was workable. The main library is amazing, with all the choices of places to study that include group areas, quiet areas, or open tables with computers. A plus in the library is that they do have a small food area where you can purchase and eat, so you don't have to leave when you are busy studying. They also have many hot water taps around, where you can make yourself a cup of coffee, tea or cup of soup. My most favourite place on campus is also found in the library on the main floor. It is called the Create Space and has so many resources that allow you to expand your creativity, whether it be for a class project or for your own pleasure. Donated materials are all most things to be free or at low cost (to cover the cost of some supplies like filament for 3D printing, badge making, and laminating). They have several sewing machines, an overlock machine, and a 10-colour embroidery machine. They offer classes on 3D, sewing, embroidery machine, and on CRICUT. Overall, there are many parts of campus to explore with the Chaplaincy centre having the best soup options, a free shop, a reuse center, DUSA has many activities constantly at free or low cost, and the Enquiry Center is a big help for navigating any additional questions you might have.
